Surat Thani is about 200 kilometres south of Chumphon. From Bangkok , take Highway 4 ( Buddha Monthon Road ) to NaKohn Pathom, to Surat Thani via Phetchaburi, Hua Hin, and Chumphon then onto Highways 41 and 401.
